The grinding machines available to the general public were unable to achieve the desired shape of the cat's pupil cut. To overcome this, Keiji Ishikawa calculated the cutting-plane angle of the wheel and ordered a customized wheel from a specialized manufacturer. This dedication to detail and innovation is what sets the Limpid Stream glassware apart from others.

The Limpid Stream collection has garnered recognition and acclaim, receiving the prestigious Bronze A' Design Award in 2021.
